At the Worlds Edge Music Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit in the USA. Our mission is to showcase New Zealand music and creativity on the North American stage, exposing audiences to music less heard or discovered, while building pathways for collaboration and movement of artists between Aotearoa New Zealand and the USA.

A spring festival of chamber music, At the World’s Edge is forging new creative pathways between Aotearoa New Zealand and Chicago USA - from the great lakes of Central Otago to the shores of Lake Michigan.
Across four programmes, AWE Chicago 2026 follows music shaped by landscape and city, by migration and belonging, and by personal and collective history.
